On 22nd of July all participants of the summer course program of the United States Institute for Student Leaders 2008 left Chicago to Spring Field for tour visit in thr Capital City of Illinois. What is special about Spring Field is Abraham Lincoln's Land where he became 16th President of the United States (1861-1865). Lincoln was regarded as one of the best and respectful President of the United States who helped the country from being descriminated between the black and white. In Lincoln's vision, he hope that all men are equal --that is the equality of opportunity, men and women, black and white people have equal right to vote.
For these one and a half day in Spring Field, I visited Lincoln's home, Museum, Theatre, Library, and the Capital Building of Illinois in which the Congress has taken place with the House of Representatives and Senate.
I continue to Chicago on 23rd in the afternoon and have a short tour visit around the city.
